Nicholas is a native Nevadan who returned to Las Vegas after law school to practice law, gaining experience representing clients in civil litigation matters including landlord-tenant matters, property disputes, breach of contract cases, as well as handling federal Fair Housing disputes and defense against discrimination complaints involving the U.S. Department of Housing.

Nicholas has additionally volunteered his time taking on complex Appeals in the Nevada Supreme Court and Court of Appeals as a pro bono attorney for the Legal Aid of Southern Nevada's Appellate Program, one of which he argued before the Nevada Court of Appeals.
