Olivia Devonmille is a former Workers’ Compensation Judge who served St. Lucie, Martin, Okeechobee, and Indian River Counties. This judicial service gives her a unique perspective when representing injured workers. Her first exposure to Florida’s Workers’ Compensation system occurred in the 1980s when she sustained an injury while working at the State Attorney’s Office. Her claim was denied, and she was forced to hire a lawyer to represent her. In 1987, shortly after prevailing in her Workers’ Compensation claim, she started practicing Workers’ Compensation Law. Five years later, in 1992, Olivia was appointed by Governor Lawton Chiles to the position of Judge of Compensation Claims. Olivia was re-appointed to this position in 1996. Since 2008, Olivia has concentrated her practice in the representation of injured workers.
Olivia is a lifelong resident of the Treasure Coast and is a descendant of one of the original founding families of St. Lucie County.
