Patrick is one of only four attorneys in New Jersey to have been qualified by the Supreme Court as both a Certified Civil Trial Attorney and a Certified Matrimonial Attorney, and guides his clients with more than 35 years of experience across all areas of family law, including divorce, prenuptial agreements, business and other asset valuations, child custody and visitation, child and spousal support, alimony and equitable distribution, post-judgement modifications, and all aspects of high conflict divorces. He has handled high profile cases and many complex matters.

Patrick maintains a subspecialty in construction law, representing contractors in disputes with both private owners and public entities, as well as other contractors. He is experienced in public bidding, construction lien issues, Department of Labor matters and change order disputes, and assists his clients with contract drafting geared toward their specific needs and concerns.

A highly experienced and respected trial attorney, Patrick has successfully tried numerous cases in the State and Federal courts and in various arbitration settings, and has recovered seven-figure jury verdicts for his clients. He has argued approximately one hundred appeals to the Superior Court, Appellate Division, and has appeared before the New Jersey Supreme Court on seven occasions. Patrick is attorney of record in sixteen published decisions, and has lectured on behalf of the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Education. In addition to practicing before the state and federal courts in New Jersey, he is licensed to practice before the United States Courts of Appeal for the Third, Tenth and Federal Circuits.
