Philipp also has experience with pre-suit investigation, motion practice, and discovery for numerous cases dealing with a wide range of complex legal issues, including inter partes reviews. His experience is diverse, including IP involving a wide range of mechanical and electrical technologies.
As a practitioner, Philipp is particularly gifted at grasping the intricacies of complex products and technologies quickly. During law school, Philipp received the Intellectual Property Legal Writing Award for his work in his IP-focused legal writing courses. Philipp was inducted into the Order of the Coif in 2016.
Prior to law school, Philipp earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. While at the University of Cincinnati, Philipp co-oped with both BMW Manufacturing and the Dow Chemical Company where he worked on a variety of engineering projects including manufacturing process planning and plant efficiency optimization.
