Phyllis Shepherd, J.D., has been practicing law in Alaska for well over thirty-five years; she is a long time Alaska resident who raised a family in this beautiful state. Her legal practice has emphasized trials and appeals, primarily in family law. She graduated from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She has been an adjunct instructor of paralegals; she has been a law clerk to a judge on the Alaska Court of Appeals. She has been trained as a child custody investigator. In 2014 she completed basic Collaborative Law training. In 2015, 2016, and in 2019 she has been recognized with honors for client service as a family law attorney in Alaska.
