Biography

About Richard Wade Main — 4 years of Ohio business experience

Richard Wade Main is an associate based in Newark, OH. The practice focuses on Business, Construction, and Litigation. Richard has 4 years of legal experience. Currently practicing at Law Office of W. Douglas Lowe.

I am a 2022 graduate of the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and have been practicing since November 2022. Prior to law school I attended Kent State University, where I studied Criminal Justice and Economics. Throughout high school and college, I also ran my own company, ManCans, a candle company that placed an emphasis on giving back to the community. I try to carry that same spirit of giving back into my career.

I focus my practice on construction law, business law, and general civil litigation. Having spent 10 years as a small business owner, I understand the difficulties that come with getting a business off the ground, the hurdles that you face along the way, and the frustration that can result when you do not get paid for the work you have done. During my time running a business I dealt with the many issues faced by small businesses every day and pride myself on being able to look at an issue from both a legal perspective and a practical business perspective. I would like to work with you to overcome all of these challenges, help you determine which fights are worth having, and help make your business as successful as it can be.

While I come from a business background, one of my favorite things about the work I do is the variety involved in it. Whatever your civil legal needs may be, I am available to be of assistance with them.

Away from the office, I am an avid cyclist and enjoy competing in ultra-distance races and going on bike-packing trips with my dad. I am a diehard Pittsburgh and Buckeye sports fan and am proud to call Central Ohio home.

I am looking forward to building a practice in Newark, Ohio and would be happy to speak with you about your legal problems.
