As the Managing Partner of Lovein Ribman my primary goal is to ensure that you receive the highest quality legal representation possible from all of our attorneys. To me, that means providing you and your company with an attorney who listens to your concerns, understands your business, is responsive to your needs, and who will strategically and aggressively protect your interests from the outset to the very end. It also means adding value to your business, always keeping you informed, and being cost conscious.
As your litigator, my goal is always the same—to win! If I am prosecuting a claim, that means obtaining for you a high dollar settlement or judgment. If I am defending a case, that means minimizing your exposure. With over 20 years of litigation experience, I have prosecuted and defended nearly every type of case imaginable through binding arbitration, mediation, administrative hearings, state court, and federal court.
As your counselor, my goal is to protect you and your business. That means providing you the highest quality legal advice and representation through legal opinions, creation of legal documents, and closing deals. I accomplish this end by understanding your business, knowing the laws that protect you, and working with you to implement them in a way that will grow your business.
I began my legal career on the east coast over 25 years ago at Syracuse College of Law, where I was a research assistant to the Dean, a tutor to younger law students, and an Editor of the Syracuse Law Review. After my first year of law school, I spent a summer in London clerking for a Barrister whose focus was defending white collar crime. During my third year of law school, I was a visiting student at the University of San Diego, School of Law. In 1997 I began practicing law with an insurance defense firm defending the nation’s largest insurance companies, fortune 500 companies, and public entities against construction defect claims, employment disputes, discrimination claims, catastrophic personal injury claims, and wrongful death. For over the last 15 years, I have primarily litigated construction disputes, business disputes, employment disputes, catastrophic personal injury, and wrongful death claims.
I am married and have two wonderful children, Parker and Katie, who, along with my wife, I adore. I love the practice of law, mentoring our young lawyers, and resolving difficult problems for our clients.
