Roger has worked with scores of entrepreneurs assisting them in selecting among choices of entity, creation of organizational documents, agreements among owners, securities, and financing issues, employment law issues, e-commerce and technology-related contracting, contract negotiation, real estate and other various day-to-day operational matters. He also serves local banks in providing general corporate representation and assistance in loan negotiation, documentation, and enforcement. Roger serves as Chair of the DeSoto, Kansas, Planning Commission and is a member of the USD 232 Education Foundation.
Roger received Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Kansas in 1989, with an emphasis in computerized AIS and MIS systems. During his undergraduate studies, he served as Chair of the Student Executive Committee of Student Senate and as President of the Kansas Memorial Corporation. He was awarded the Hilltopper Award as an outstanding member of his undergraduate class. Roger obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1992, where he was a Rice Scholar. During law school, Roger served as Articles Editor for the Kansas Law Review and as a member of Moot Court Council.
Roger is admitted to practice law in Kansas, Missouri and before the United States Supreme Court. Roger is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri and the United States Supreme Court. Roger is a member of the American, Kansas, Missouri, Johnson County, and Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Associations.
