Ron is the immediate past President of the Pittsburgh chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and a member of the national board of trustees, past chair of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section Council of the ACBA, a current member of the Ethics Committee of the ACBA, for a period of over 6 years ending June 30, 2012 was a member of the board of directors of Southwinds, Inc., a charitable nonprofit organization serving adults with developmental challenges, and currently serves as a member of the bylaws committee of the Temple Emanuel of the South Hills. He is a frequent speaker on various insolvency related matters.
Mr. Roteman earned a B.S. in accounting from Penn State University and an MBA and JD from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Allegheny County, and West Virginia bars, the third and fourth circuit courts of appeals, and the district courts for the western district of Pennsylvania and the northern and southern districts of West Virginia.
