Ron is a graduate of Pomona College and Arizona State University College of Law where he was a Pedrick Scholar and served as a legal research and writing instructor. Prior to joining the firm of Ely, Bettini, Ulman & Rosenblatt, Ron was a criminal defense attorney and prosecutor. As a prosecutor, Ron earned Barrister Awards for outstanding trial and appellate advocacy.

Ron has obtained several million dollar plus jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients. He has tried over fifty cases to juries and has successfully handled numerous bench trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Ron has extensive appellate experience in State and Federal Courts, and is counsel of record in several published appellate opinions, including Tarron v. Bowen Machine & Fabricating, Inc., 225 Ariz. 147, 235 P.3d 1030 (2010); Morgan ex rel. Clark v. American Family Mutual Insurance Company, 563 F.3d 898 (9th Cir. 2009); Tarron v. Bowen Machine & Fabricating, Inc., 222 Ariz. 160, 213 P.3d 309 (App. 2009); State v. Johnson, 198 Ariz. 245, 8 P.3d 1159 (App. 2000); and State ex rel. McDougall v. Strohson (Cantrell), 190 Ariz. 120, 945 P.2d 1251 (1997).

In addition, Ron has been quoted by various media, including The Arizona Republic, East Valley Tribune, and MSNBC. Moreover, he has served the legal community as a member of the Arizona State Bar Legal Services Committee and the Thurgood Marshall Inn of Court.
