Prior to joining Wapner Newman, P.C., Mr. Haileab served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office during which he tried hundreds of jury and bench trials. As a member of the Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit, Mr. Haileab was responsible for investigating and prosecuting sexual assaults on minors and on adults and was the Office’s primary prosecutor of offenders accused of violent assaults against children. Mr. Haileab received law enforcement training concerning the investigation and prosecution of sexual assaults and child pornography offenses.
Mr. Haileab is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Haileab is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations. His memberships include the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, and New Jersey Association for Justice.
