Tegan Couch joined the McKinnish Law Group, PLLC team as a paralegal in September of 2016 while she was completing her juris doctorate degree. Upon graduating and becoming licensed, Tegan transitioned into her current position as an Associate Attorney with the firm.
Tegan received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University, and has more than fifteen years’ experience working as a paralegal in Kentucky prior to entering law school. Tegan graduated from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law cum laude in May 2018. During her studies she was awarded the Cali Award for her excellent performance in Wills, Trusts & Estates, as well as Criminal Practice and Procedure. She was also named to the Dean’s List during several semesters.
Tegan has two wonderful daughters, Landry and Leighton. She remains involved in the Seymour community through her daughters’ sport endeavors. Although she was raised in the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky, Tegan and her family fell in love with East Tennessee and she is dedicated to protecting the rights of her fellow Tennesseans.
