Born and raised in Pittsburgh as the youngest of nine children, Terry grew up in the Brookline neighborhood of Pittsburgh and graduated from Seton-LaSalle high school and completed undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his law degree from Duquesne University in 1992 and was admitted to the Pennsylvania State Bar later that year.

Terry focuses his practice on representing injured persons in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, dog bites and other types of personal injury claims. He has also represented business clients in litigation matters, assists families in estate administration proceedings and handles the firm’s criminal practice and zoning cases. Terry has represented the Emsworth Zoning Hearing Board for over fifteen years and currently represents the South Fayette Civil Service Commission and the Borough of Etna Zoning Hearing Board. Terry is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania courts, including U.S. District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania.

From 1992-1996, Terry worked as an Associate at the law office of Robert P. Ging, Jr., where he handled personal injury and environmental cases, arguing a significant environmental case before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Terry has been marred to his wife Lori for 30 years. They have 3 children – Shane, Delaney and Ryan – and a dog, Dax. Terry has been heavily involved in local sports associations and has coached numerous baseball, softball, football, and wrestling teams over the years. Terry is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, and hunting.
