He then attended the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and graduated in 1984 with a J.D. degree. Spin was one of the founding partners of this firm in 1990. He is a member of the Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations, Alabama State Bar, the Defense Research Institute and has been listed in Woodward & White’s “Best Lawyers in America” for the past 30 years. He is a practicing member of the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Alabama.
