Wes continued his football career after college by playing professionally in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the B.C. Lions. After sustaining a career ending injury Wes became an Assistant Football Coach for the Div-III Ohio Northern Polar Bears where Wes also obtained his law degree from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in 2007.
