Justin Clark brings a broad range of experience to ClouseSpaniac. He is primarily engaged in civil litigation, including personal injury, assault/battery, UM/UIM, habitability and property damage claims. He also handles cases involving product liability, breach of contract, insurance coverage disputes, intellectual property, and toxic torts. Mr. Clark specializes in construction site accidents, many of which have involved catastrophic or fatal injuries.
Mr. Clark has practiced on both sides of the aisle, which has enabled him to understand first-hand the motivating factors of both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as the business practices of their respective counsel. His plethora of experience has empowered him to favorably resolve many diverse cases.
While he would prefer that cases do not devolve into law and motion practice, he has prevailed on multiple Motions for Summary Judgment and Motions to Dismiss. His primary aim is to help his clients succeed, and he is able to do so adeptly without being combative. “Many attorneys are confused by the difference between assertiveness and hostility.”
Justin acquired both his law degree and a Master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Louisville. While pursuing his degrees, he worked in the Office of Technology Transfer, drafting international agreements and joint venture agreements. He clerked at the Public Defender’s Office and completed a fellowship at the Legal Aid Society. He was a member of the Journal of Law and Education and on the Moot Court Board, an Associate Justice for the University Supreme Court and President of the University UNICEF Chapter.
Outside of work, Mr. Clark enjoys spending time with his family, staying fit and playing music. He was a violinist with the LA Lawyers’ Philharmonic and he continues to play folk music at various venues..
