Biography

About William Patterson — Over 14 years of Texas car accidents experience

William Patterson is a member based in Fort Worth, TX. The practice focuses on Car Accidents, General, and Motorcycle. William has over 14 years of legal experience. Currently practicing at Patterson Law Group.

Travis Patterson represents good people — teachers, pilots, children, pastors, nurses, moms, dads, drivers, pool cleaners, grandmothers, grandfathers, young professionals, entrepreneurs, mechanics, attorneys, firefighters, oil field workers, hair stylists, massage therapists, receptionists, air traffic controllers, accountants… the list goes on. The one thing they all have in common is that they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They didn't ask to be hurt in a car accident, a truck collision, or a motorcycle crash. They didn't ask for their lives to be turned upside down. But they are prepared to do something about it. With Travis' help, they are prepared to seek their justice.

He became a lawyer to help people who are hurting because somebody else was sloppy, distracted, drunk, or greedy — people being taken advantage of by big businesses and big insurance companies. Travis handles car accidents, truck and 18-wheeler accidents, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death claims, and serious personal injury cases throughout Fort Worth, Arlington, and North Texas.

Travis prides himself on giving people their voice. He has learned his craft — and continues to learn every day — from great trial lawyers across Texas, and brings that experience to every case he takes.

Travis received both his business degree and law degree from The University of Texas at Austin. In undergrad, he served as President of the Texas Cowboys — and his favorite memory is shooting Smokey the Cannon at home football games.

Before founding Patterson Law Group, Travis worked at Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff & Miller, LLP in Fort Worth and Haynes and Boone, LLP in Dallas, and served as a visiting prosecutor in the Arlington Municipal Court. In law school, he clerked for the Honorable Lawrence E. Meyers, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals — where he met his wife and law partner, Anna Patterson.

Travis was born and raised in Tarrant County and is proud of his family's deep roots here. His grandfather, Harold Patterson, served as Arlington's Mayor from 1983 to 1987 and on the City Council for over 20 years. His father, Mike Patterson, served on Arlington's School Board and Planning & Zoning Commission. His uncle, Roy English, served as Tarrant County Judge. Travis carries that same commitment to community through his law practice every day.

Travis and Anna live in Aledo with their four children — Hayes, Jack, Hattie, and James — and their dog, Gunni.
