Mr. Akin received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Hofstra University in 1994 after graduating Cum Laude from the City University of New York, Brooklyn Campus in 1991 with a double major in Accounting and Business Administration. He is admitted to the bar of the states of New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
