While at Florida Coastal, Ms. Ziegler was a founding member and vice-president of the Military Law Society, a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, and received recognition for her commitment to pro bono work. Ms. Ziegler obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Cincinnati, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2005.

Before joining Cole, Scott & Kissane, Ms. Ziegler served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Her assignments included representing Service members facing courts-martial and administrative separation, providing advice on civil matters to forward-deployed Service members and their family members, serving as Officer-in-Charge of a remote Defense Service Office providing personal representation advice, courts-martial representation, and Administrative Separation Board and Board of Inquiry representation to forward-deployed Service members, and creating policy at the Office of the Judge Advocate General. She has represented clients in 10 fully-contested General Courts-Martial, 1 fully-contested Special Court-Martial, over fifty (50) General and Special Courts-Martial bench trials, over fifty (50) Administrative Separation Boards and five (5) Boards of Inquiry.
