Jeff Moody has been a member of the Florida Bar for the past 26 years. After graduating law school from Florida State University, Mr. Moody began his career at the State Attorney's Office for Duval, Nassau and Clay counties. While there, he served as Senior Trial Attorney for multiple felony divisions, at one point trying 25 trials in a single year.
In addition, Mr. Moody was involved in a dual jurisdictional State and Federal task force for gun crimes and gang activity. He was tasked as Gang Task Force Liaison, and ultimately served as Deputy Director of Homicide for approximately nine years.
Upon leaving the State Attorney's Office, Mr. Moody had the opportunity to work for multiple State and National Defense Firms.
While working on the defense side, Mr. Moody dealt with general insurance defense, construction defect defense and medical malpractice defense. However, his desire to help people, and not insurance companies lead him to Morgan & Morgan.
Since being at Morgan & Morgan, Mr. Moody deals primarily with Premises Liability claims, with a specialty in Negligent Security cases. He has been promoted to Summit Leader and is a supervising attorney in the Jacksonville office.
