Mario was awarded the Merit Law Scholarship in law school and received his J.D., magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University in 2012. During law school, Mario was an Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review, receiving the Red Pen Award for Best Editor of the Year from 2011 through 2012.

Prior to attending law school, Mario graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University in 2008, double majoring in Finance and International Business. During college, Mario studied abroad in the Republic of Panama focusing on Latin American politics and business contracts.

Since joining the firm, Mario has become an integral part the firm’s appellate and litigation trial team, serving catastrophically injured clients in courtrooms throughout the United States. Mario focuses his practice on catastrophic negligence, medical malpractice, products liability, wrongful death, and commercial disputes. In March of 2016, Kimberly L. Boldt and Mario served as litigation appellate counsel for a brain-injured child in El Dorado, Arkansas, where the jury awarded a $46.5 million-dollar verdict which was collected on her behalf. In 2015, Kimberly and Mario successfully upheld a $23 million-dollar verdict in Port Charlotte, Florida, while striking down the medical malpractice noneconomic damages caps in personal injury cases in the Second District Court of Appeal.

Mario was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Italian parents and moved to South Florida in 1997. He spent most of his time growing up outside––surfing, snowboarding and fishing. For Mario, yearly surfing trips to remote parts of the world are a must; from Brazil to Nicaragua, from Hawaii to California, surfing is what keeps Mario centered, balanced and ultimately focused on the practice of law.
