Upon relocating to Florida, Ray was an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County from 2000-2003 and served as an assistant chief in the career criminal unit. He was also Partner for a local state and federal civil litigation firm, where he was responsible for handling complex construction defect and construction accident cases, professional malpractice defense of architects and engineers, negligent security and liquor liability/dram shop defense, and insurance coverage disputes. Ray has litigated and tried cases throughout the State of Florida on behalf of a myriad of clients including contractors, security companies, restaurants and taverns, recreation centers, transportation companies, product manufacturers and distributors. Overall, he has tried nearly 100 jury trials to verdict.
Ray is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator. He earned his Juris Doctor from Touro University (formerly Touro College) and his Bachelor of Arts from New York University.
