I have been in practice for 25 years and have substantial business, estate planning, and litigation experience. I grew up in Minnesota. During my college years I worked on the family farm, where we grew vegetables. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1984 with a Bachelors of Arts in English (also Phi Beta Kappa). I attended law school at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. I obtained my J.D. degree in 1989, and am a member of the Order of the Coif academic honor society. I settled in Fresno in 1989, where I have maintained my practice. When CDs were the rage, I reviewed a lot of music for a local newspaper. My old website is still at cdshakedown.com. You had to be there -- I'd receive 15 or more CDs every week. Now, I listen to lots of live music and other ROIOs. My son is attending law school at UC Irvine, and my daughter is a computer science major at UCSB. In my spare time I enjoy woodworking/cabinet making, trap shooting, and music.
