Ms. Batten has defended numerous catastrophic injury cases including those involving traumatic brain injuries, burns, infectious disease, amputations, electrocution, and wrongful death. Ms. Batten also has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 clients, hotels, restaurants, gas stations, night clubs, apartment and condominium complexes, event spaces, and other retail establishments in various negligence matters, including lawsuits involving claims against parent companies and/or franchisors. She has defended clients in over 30 counties throughout the State of Florida and holds a distinctive understanding as to the various venues and their unique perspectives.

Ms. Batten was born and raised in Miami, FL and received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, cum laude, from the University of Florida and received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
