Tye Masters graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2013 where he dual majored in Political Science & Philosophy, Politics, and Law, with a minor in Business Law. He then returned to his hometown of Las Vegas, NV and graduated from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law as a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient in 2017.
After passing the bar on his first attempt in 2017, Tye was hired to serve as in-house counsel for University Medical Center of Southern Nevada Hospital. In this role, Tye advised the hospital with complex regulatory matters related to Medicare, Medicaid, insurance billing, hospital accreditation, and the professional standards for licensed healthcare providers. He further actively managed and litigated claims related to medical malpractice, premises liability, physician credentialing, and patient accounting disputes. Tye joined the team of Benson & Bingham in 2025, and his prior experience provides him with a unique insight that he now leverages to best serve his personal injury clients and maximize their potential recoveries.
As the son of a pilot in the United States Air Force, Tye was raised in a diverse set of environments that included Germany, Texas, and Arkansas before he finally set roots down in Southern Nevada. Having been in Nevada since 2001, he considers it to be his home and strives to zealously represent his clients to best serve his community. When he is not practicing law, you can regularly catch Tye attending a Vegas Golden Knights game, rooting on the USC Trojans, golfing, or enjoying an afternoon walk with his two dogs.
