Tyler Slack is an associate attorney in WilliamsMcCarthy’s litigation department and joined the firm in September 2013. • Tort litigation including personal injury and property damage cases;
• Employment litigation in a variety of contexts, including administrative review proceedings under the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, as well as cases involving breach of contract, wrongful termination, restrictive covenants, non-competition disputes, and cases involving restraining orders under the Illinois Workplace Violence Prevention Act;
• Probate and estate administration matters, including trust disputes and guardianship proceedings;
• Commercial contract and business disputes; and
• Commercial and residential lease disputes.
As a native of Sycamore, Illinois, and a resident of Rockford, Tyler has strong ties to both communities and the northern Illinois region. Tyler is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rock River Valley Pantry, and is currently the chair of the Pantry’s Peanut Butter Endowment Fund and is also a member of the client services committee. Tyler is also a graduate of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce business and civic leadership program, Leadership Rockford.
Prior to joining WilliamsMcCarthy, Tyler worked as a law clerk for the City of Chicago Department of Law.
