William “Bill” T. Goran is Of Counsel in our Miami, Florida, office. He has over 35 years of workers’ compensation experience defending insurance carriers and employers throughout the construction and hospitality industry. In addition, he represents employers and business owners in Fair Labor and Standards Act claims, labor and employment claims, and Americans with Disability Act claims.
Bill is an established litigation attorney with extensive background in litigating high volume workers’ compensation matters throughout Southern Florida. His defense experience includes defending Fortune 500 employers and carriers with varying complex needs.

He also spent nearly 25 years at another firm in Coral Gables, Florida, that also specialized in workers’ compensation matters as well as general liability claims.
Bill obtained his Bachelors of Arts at the University of Florida and Juris Doctor at the University of Miami. He is admitted to many different courts throughout the state of Florida including the Division of Administrative Hearings - Workers’ Compensation, the Circuit and County Courts of Florida, District Courts of Appeal, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Bill has been a Board Member with a number of organizations in the Miami area. He formerly served on the Board of Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services, which provides education and care to at risk children, and is a current member of the board of the Groves at Old Cutler Homeowners Association. Bill lives in Miami, Florida, with his wife, daughter, and their dogs.
